Relay privacy policy

Effective September 28, 2026. Relay is operated by Manan Shah. Contact mananshah03690@gmail.com for privacy requests.

Information used by Relay

When you use the live service, Relay processes your sender name, connected Gmail account identity and authorization tokens, service session identifier, saved settings and templates, job links and details, company/domain selections, discovered professional contacts, prepared and sent message content, optional PDF résumé, and queue status. Sharing a job may also send its link or text to a supported job-posting service to retrieve available details. The iPhone stores a service session token in Keychain and nonsecret settings and pending share imports in its app container.

How information is used and shared

Relay uses this information to import jobs, find company contacts, prepare messages, send approved or automatically authorized messages, enforce send limits, display status, and provide account controls. The service stores account records, provider tokens, résumé content, and campaigns in encrypted Cloudflare Durable Object storage. A queued send may run after the app is closed.

Relay does not sell user data, use advertising or analytics SDKs, track email opens, or use Gmail data for advertising. Information received from Google Workspace APIs is used only to provide the user-facing Gmail sending feature and is handled in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Human access to this information is limited to security, support, legal obligations, or use you explicitly authorize.

Retention and your choices

Relay keeps active service account data until you delete the account in Settings. Deletion removes the active service account, saved campaigns, résumé, service sessions, and provider connection from Relay storage and attempts to revoke the Google authorization. Mailbox-level suppression records may remain if another Relay account uses the same Gmail mailbox. Provider systems and messages already sent to recipients are outside Relay’s deletion control; provider operational copies may follow their own retention schedules. No separate operator backup of Relay account records is currently configured.

You can pause future sends, disconnect Gmail or Hunter, remove your résumé, or delete your account in Settings. A send already submitted to Gmail cannot be recalled. You can also revoke Relay’s Google access in your Google Account settings. For access, correction, or deletion questions, including about a discovered professional contact, email the address above.

Relay may update this policy as its features or providers change. The latest version will remain at this URL.
